Annapurna
Annapurna-1 at 8091 M, the world’s tenth highest mountain is technically one of the most difficult and highly avalanche prone mountain. It was first climbed by a French team in 1951.
Cho - Oyu
Cho Oyu at 8201 M is the sixth highest peak in the world. It lies completely inside Tibet Autonomous region of China. Cho Oyu means ‘Turquoise goddess’ in Tibetan language. I had the opportunity to lead and summit during this expedition.
Kalindi
Kalindi is a high altitude mountain pass connecting the famous shrines of Gangotri and Badrinath in Garhwal Himalayas. The pass is situated at 5,950 metres (19,520 ft) elevation and is the most famous trekking pass of Garhwal Himalayas with a challenging high altitude glacial trek.
Kilimanjaro
Mount Kilimanjaro at 5893M is not only Africa's tallest peak, but also the world's tallest free-standing mountain.
Mt. Everest
I am particularly blessed to have got the opportunity to be on Everest from both the sides. In 2001, we went from Nepal side and in 2005 from China side.
Mt. Mana
Mana peak at 7274M, is located in the general area of Badrinath in Uttarakhand. Though, this peak is a bigger challenge in terms of technical climb, but its popularity is shadowed by the more sought after peaks like Kamet and Abi Garmin in its neighbourhood.
Mt. White Needle
White Needle peak at 6930 M is a part and third highest summit in Nun Kun Mountain massif of the western Himalayan range, located near the Suru valley on Kargil Padum road in Zanskar region of Indian Himalayas.
Nanda Devi
Nanda Devi, the patron goddess of Uttarakhand, is who this mountain massif owes its name to. Nanda Devi at 7817 M, is the 23rd highest peak in the world and the second highest in India after Kangchenjunga, the mountain is notable for its steep features and has been likened to K2, the second-highest peak in the world, in terms of terrain and difficulty in climbing and also second in holiness to Mt Kailash, the abode of the Gods.
Nyegi Kangtsang
The Nyegi Kangsang at 7047 M is one of the highest mountains in Arunachal Pradesh. The Kameng, one of the most important rivers in Arunachal Pradesh, is fed by the Nyegi Kangsang Glacier which stretches along its eastern flank
Panchuli
The Panchachuli peaks are a group of five snow-capped Himalayan peaks lying at the end of the eastern Kumaon region, near Dugtu Village of Darma valley. The peaks have altitudes ranging from 6,334 metres (20,781 ft) to 6,904 metres (22,651 ft).
Satopanth
Mt Satopanth at 7075 M is one the very prominent and popular peak in Garhwal Himalayas. The mountain was first climbed in 1947.
